Dilemma - Help me decide which tahitian strand!

I like the strand on the right, or the second strand. I like the lighter colors and I think they have more luster and shine. They are mesmerizing.

Unfortunately these gorgeous strands are from online retailers, I don't have the opportunity to try them on. I never wore tahitian strands before so this color pearls are very new to me.

I am getting very excited about this new purchase of pearls - will give myself one more night to ponder & hopefully tomorrow I will have a decision.

Definately love the ones of the right. I think the simmery tones in them, judging from the pic, would complement your skin tone better!

Hmm I can see why you are having such a hard time I like them both as well. I like the first one because it is round and dark colors however the second one has really nice luster to it. Are they priced the same? If not I would just go with the cheaper one and if you don't like it return it and get the other one.

Definitely a difficult choice because it really depends which looks best on you. Strictly from a pearl sense, the left strand has better shape, color and surface, making it the more valuable strand. But the strand opposite has an interesting color combination.

Tahitian pearls are most often auctioned off in separated lots. They are offered by colors, shapes, sizes and qualities.

The dark peacock will always have the highest reserve and values drop as the pearls lighten. The left strand shows dark and dark peacock while the right medium to medium light.

I would choose the 2nd strand because of your dressing. And if it's the first time you are trying tahitians, a lighter colour may be a safer bet, IMHO.

All said, the 1st strand is equally gorgeous but gives a more elegant and demure look versus the 2nd one which gives a more modern look.
