Did you know you can turn your CF cardholder into a mini WOC?

I recently watched one of Mel In Melbourne's YT videos about receiving poor customer service in Chanel boutiques and how it's turned her off to buying new Chanel bags. Well, midway through the video she starts talking about Samorga bag inserts (I love them, they're great) and how she has collaborated with them to design an insert that would convert your CF cardholder into a mini WOC! This doesn't appeal to everyone, but to those who love mini purses, this is a fantastic way to carry/wear your cardholder for a tiny FRACTION of what Chanel is selling their cardholder on chains for. I took some snapshots to show you but also will provide the video link so you can see it in action.

I purchased one along with a few bag inserts and hopefully will receive them within the next few weeks. I didn't particularly like the chains Samorga is selling (the rings/clasps are a bit too large for my liking) so I'm buying one elsewhere. Didn't realize faux Chanel bag chains were fairly easy to find, lol.

I thought so, too. It'd be fun to be able to wear our cardholders instead of keeping them hidden in our bags when we don't want/need to carry everything with us.

Saw this video too and love this idea! But not for myself. I'm just not into tiny bags and need to carry more than a few cards. Maybe I'd convert a Chanel long flap wallet tho.

Not at all. I haven't received mine yet so I can't comment on the quality, but they look great on the website. I like that you're able to choose length of strap & size and style of clasp!

Super cool! so to summarize, i looked at the website and you buy a card holder felt insert ($12) and your choice of chain ($38+). Not bad for saving you like $2000 in the boutique lol

Right!? I mean, if you already have a cardholder you're spending under $100 to convert it. And even if you buy a new cardholder you're still saving over a grand! It's such a win/win for those who like mini "bags."

OK so I watched the second video and it is an even more economical way to convert your wallet. She linked some chains on Amazon. You can buy thick felt yourself, so I think I'm going to try this. If it doesn't work great, I could return the chain to Amazon and just buy the other one on Samorga. I love DIYs!

OK so I watched the second video and it is an even more economical way to convert your wallet. She linked some chains on Amazon. You can buy thick felt yourself, so I think I'm going to try this. If it doesn't work great, I could return the chain to Amazon and just buy the other one on Samorga. I love DIYs!

Yes, that DIY video is great! If I hadn't been buying bag inserts from Samorga, I definitely would've just made my own cardholder insert since it's easy and cheaper (the shipping from S. Korea is pricey).

Mautto's straps are made to order so I probably won't receive it for another week or more, but rest assured I will post a pic once it arrives.

Sorry I haven't had time to post pics/review of the leather & chain strap from Mautto until now. It arrived last week and the quality is great. I set it next to my small Chanel tweed bag so you can see the quality and size. The Chanel strap on the tweed bag is the same size of straps on CF minis. The strap I ordered from Mautto is a 44" Extra Mini Pettite Nickel strap with mini lobster claw clasps. My only complaint is the strap tends to stay twisted in some areas. I'm returning it to exchange for a longer size (48" - they measure in total length of strap not drop length) and brought the twisting issue up to them & they assured me the next strap won't have that issue. Overall I'm very happy with the Samorga insert. It converted my Boy wallet into a WOC beautifully.
