Thank you! I watched YouTube like crazy during the pandemic and I started watching these self made refurbishers of vintage LV bags so I got inspired. Spending just $45 (tax) on a project seemed okay to take the risk. I guess the total cost should be considered $65 but honestly I have so much product left over I can do a whole case of these projects. I am still doing it now. I got this wallet as junk for $65+tax a month ago and I just finished it. I don’t mind saying it looks new and there was a rip you don’t even notice any more. If anyone is interested in their videos let me know. I can link it. This is just a hobby. I used to knit a lot but I had to stop because my family no longer wanted my sweaters and such anymore. LOL As for these projects, I only spend less than $80 as a rule for project pieces.
After looking at sparksfly’s Damier wallet pics. Her wallet can definitely be transformed to almost new condition like mine. Her wallet is in way better shape than these two pieces were.

$100 for this wallet with the shipping included from Japan is a great deal. I have this wallet in monogram and your wallet is authentic. You don’t need to spend too much money to bring this wallet back to it’s glory. You need two thing. 1) Fiebing’s edge kote in dark brown and 2) LT leather restore in medium brown. I paid less than $20 total for both item on amazon. When you get the wallet, clean it with alcohol free/fragrance free wipes. Let it dry, use a really light sand paper and clean the edges. After that reglaze with edge kote. The wallet will look good as new. I bought this for $40 on eBay from a Japanese reseller. It was listed as junk. I did what I told you to do and look at it now. Just ask me if you need help. I am not a refurbisher, it was just a pandemic boredom project. LOL
