As for your question - Length would be very subjective and dependent on your wrist's measurements.
As for fit, I have been known to drive my jewellers batty with my VERY specific fit requirements for bracelets
So here goes: it has to be loose enough that it falls about 1/2 inch from the lowest part of my wrist bone. When my hand is facing downwards, it has to fall at that point where your wrist "ends" and your hand "begins". When my hand is dropped, I should be able to comfortably put in both my index and middle finger - there should be enough space to loosely fit both fingers.

I prefer bracelets to bangles, and I wear my diamond bracelet whether I'm dressing up or in jeans and a t-shirt. Honestly, I think they're just as versatile as bangles.

, this is a bit less than 30 carats. Thankfully I have pretty small wrists! And for the specs, I now recall it is actually between vvs1/vvs2.
