marie- here's an older pic of the jackets with my first BG studs that were .65 ctw. The ones I have now are .82ctw and in the same style setting so same thing, just a little bigger now. Boht par have been BG signature stones. The earring stones are J's and the jacket stones are G-ish and 3 pointers. I think it is .66 ctw. As for vendors to look at in the US- I think Whiteflash and perhaps Crafted by Infinity have the historically best upgrade policy. Brian Gavin designed Whiteflash's original A Cut Above stones before he moved on to created his own brand, and so they have a very similar look to his stones still in terms of specs and proportions.

pardon the really awful princess cuts. That was when my ears were healing from the second piercing and I had to have something tiny to keep in 24/7 and gold Is picked up something cheap in 14K.

Can anyone recommend a Canadian vendor for diamond studs? I will be adding a pair to my collection near the holidays.

I love the idea of the jacket; allows for both everyday and dressier wear.

Hi, I am considering Brian Gavin for a dbty-style bezel stud earring. My only concern from reading old posts is the bezel quality and thickness compared to Tiffany’s. I have the dbty necklace and bracelet from Tiffany’s and love how delicate the bezel looks. Does anyone have BGs bezel earrings that can show me how they turned out? Looking for 1 ctw studs. Thanks!!

I love Tiffany (have lots of jewelry from Tiffany including my engagement ring, wedding band, and anniversary band), however I definitely would recommend going non-Tiffany for diamond studs. Like you mentioned, there is nothing unique about Tiffany diamond studs. I have studs from Whiteflash (ACAs -- "A Cut Above") and they are stunning and incredibly sparkly. Honestly, a part of me wonders if we should have gone non-Tiffany for my engagement ring and wedding band after seeing Whiteflash's quality.

I've been very happy with Whiteflash's service (don't hesitate to contact them for any help or advice) and think you can't go wrong with their ACA diamonds.
Have you compared the white flash diamond to the Tiffany diamond? If so, did you notice a difference at all?
