Here you go! And one more mod shot. So hard capturing a good picture while wearing it. Thanks for all of the kind words. I can't wait to do another project with BGD down the road.
Wow, it really captures the true beauty of the diamond!
That is beautiful! May I ask the size of the stone?
Thanks for your reply!A little over a carat. I really need to get it reappraised. It's an old stone. It faces up larger than a standard round. I believe it is somewhere between 1.05 and 1.1. Two different appraisals about 30 years apart.
I know I already said it, but you did a fab. job. Beautiful reset.A little over a carat. I really need to get it reappraised. It's an old stone. It faces up larger than a standard round. I believe it is somewhere between 1.05 and 1.1. Two different appraisals about 30 years apart.

It appears larger than that. I would have guessed 1.25 ct. I have 1.1 ct and 0.9 ct diamonds that I am considering for a reset, and I really like yours.
May I also ask if the setting stays in place in the center of your neck, or do you find yourself repositioning it? That is the issue I have with my current setting, and it bothers me to no end. I am actually not wearing it because of this.

My pendant is 1.04 ct and yours looks huge compared to it. I know older stones were cut to different proportions, not ideal or H&A - still, even though it's in a bezel, it still looks like a very large diamond.
The only time I have had to reposition it is in the morning after sleeping on it. I haven't had any problems with it flipping unless my shirtline hits right where the pendant does. I had the chain shortened to 15.5"
What is crazy is that it was in a much larger bezel before and the stone looks quite a bit bigger now in the thinner bezel.
Tried to take a pic with my e ring as a frame of reference. It's 2.23.
