I'm still thinking about upgrading my Rolex from a 26mm to a 31mm.
I already decided that the 36mm is just to big for me.
Now, I'm deciding between diamond markers or roman numerals.
Any opinions?
I don't think that the diamond markers add that much to the watch.
I would definately go with a diamond bezel and Mother of Pearl face.

Confused again! You say definitely diamond bezel. So are you considering diamond markers with the diamond bezel? I think that is too much personally. I would do diamond bezel and roman numerals OR plain bezel and diamond markers - JMO!

^^I agree with Hoka, one or the other. Both would be too much for me. I have the 31mm tahitian MOP w. diamond markers - love it. Also a 36mm with roman numerals - love it! Couldn't tell if I like one more than the other because I don't, love them both equally. Good luck with your decision.

I don't know...but I was taught IV and the IIII just looks wrong to me.

I know it's a ridiculous peeve.

Haha, yeah, we were all taught IV but I think watch makers have used IIII since the middle ages or something. IV is the more modern usage!!

Anyway, I don't think there is ever too much bling - I would vote for diamond bezel + diamond markers, or like Swanky said, you can get both diamond AND roman numerals!!

I like Roman Numerals, they always stand out to me. Very refined and chic, IMO.

I really love the look of Rolex diamond markers, but the contrast between the Roman Numerals and Diamond Bezel would look really nice!
