Thank you. I decided to go with an emerald cut eternity. Through Instagram I was connected with Butani jewelers in HK, I compared their specs agains a custom piece my jeweler would have done. The Butani was actually a bit less, so I decided to go with them. Waiting for the ring to be made and should have it within a couple of weeks. Very excited[emoji51]

I love your ring - it’s looks so elegant on you ! I’m in fact hoping to get something similar for our next anniversary... may I also ask for the specs? I live in Hong Kong and wonder how you found the experience with Butani? Are you happy to share the approx price as well (pm if you prefer)? Only asking as this is exactly what I will be looking for but will need to save up! Thank you

Lucky you, I had to go through some hoops to get the Butani ring to US, but it was all possible because of the Butani team that made it happen.

The specs are as follows:
The emerald cut eternity band is G-H color with VS+ clarity.
My ring size is size 7, the tcw. 7.65

In general I feel Cartier, Tiffany, VCA etc are worth it to get iconic pieces, but for an eternity band it is overpriced in my opinion. I'm glad you went for the "more bang for my buck" approach - it looks incredible with your engagement ring!

Thank you, I agree I love these brands, but on this ring I definitely wanted substance.

Thanks so much for sharing this info. It’s beautiful and definitely an eye catcher! Enjoy it for many years to come! My ring size is slightly smaller - 4.5 - and I want something i can wear 24/7 so I wonder if a lower carat weight may suit me better... will start exploring and trying some pieces over the next few months..

Your ring is gorgeous! Do you mind me asking how you like the ring? Do you find it bulky or uncomfortable? I am considering getting one but not sure how it would wear daily :) Let me know!
