I had a look at some jewellers here and they were all double the price and not v gd quality. It is a late thirtieth bday pressie with money I received from my parents, in laws etc :)
I think I am going to go for two one carat ones too just have to break the news to hubbie!!

Twitspie- I dont want to threadjack your thread but why is it that jewellery si so expensive in the UK? when I was in London last I was looking in some B&M stores and they had gold plated jewellery for 300 pounds. thats insane! If it was in Canada it would cost probably $50-100 dollars CDN.

Hey Candice,
Everything in the UK is expensive compared to the States on a whole...basically because of the strength of the pound...and customers here seem to accept the prices...petrol for example is $160 for one tank in an average car!

How I wish I didn't live in the UK, us Brits get ripped of with everything & we just seem to put up with it, I think my next holiday is defiantly going to be in the USA & I will take my DH CC & spend lots of $$ lol:yahoo:
