I’m a pretty simple, not too many frills girl. My original engagement ring was purchased when we were young and very broke. It was a modest .3 carat princess cut with lower quality specs, especially in terms of cut.

For Mother’s Day, my husband got me a new ring. It’s a .82 carat, D color, VVS1, hearts and arrows/ideal cut round, and the band is platinum now. I’m in LOVE, and have never seen a diamond in person that sparkles so much. As a person who doesn’t wear much jewelry, I feel so fancy now
