I saw a brand new one of these on Evilbay a week or so ago. I didnt hit the trigger as i was being "good" for a change. Its a beauty. Will keep my eyes peeled and see if it sold or not tonight when i get home from work for you Lou. :graucho:

Thanks Hun, there were 2 a few weeks ago, one listed as used once and one listed as new without tags. Call me cynical, but when something is advertised with modelling pics, I always see it as likely it's been used. Like when you see people with scabby feet modelling shoes [emoji51] there's a whole thread on weird stuff on the eBay sub forum...... So funny!

NPN had one a while back too

Long time lurker, first time poster.

Desperately seeking a turtle lock Del Rey in any colour! It's to replace one that was stolen 18 months ago that I'm still grieving over.

As well as online purchase I'm willing to travel to UK or Ireland if anyone spots one in an outlet :)

Hi ladies! Is Selfridges a reputable Mulberry retailer? Ive been browsing bags online and I'm wondering why the Lily bag is only 780 USD compared to 1050 on the Mulberry website. I live in the USA so I'm not familiar with the store. Thanks for your help!!!

Selfridges is like our Bloomingdales, totally reputable. I do not know about the taxes and duties, but Selfridges may be able to answer whether or not they factor it into the cost. I know Matchesfashion (like our Barney's) takes care of the duties.

Their website says:
  • All import duties added at checkout and no import duties on orders under USD$800*
  • No additional charges when your order arrives
  • Delivery charge: $40
  • Receive your order within 5 working days

Selfridges is lovely, I have only had good experiences with them, both in-store and online (I'm in the UK)

No clue why the prices are different though.

The prices are lower because they sell in UK prices. UK Msrp prices are lower than in the US. They take their MSRP, substract the 20% vat, convert it to USD and thats what people here in the US pay.

It actually looks like some of their UK prices are lower than on Mulberry's own website. Some of the Lily bags are £25 cheaper, then some are £5 more expensive and the rest are the same price. It's odd - but I will keep it in mind for next time :p
