oh how i envy you.................. I keep trying to get down their and failing. i am a lame motorway driver and don't think i can do the return journey in one day. Hotel stays just make me feel even worse about the amount i spend on bags and even so i don't have a free weekend for what feels like ages.

Am thinking about getting the train and cab (expensive!). What day would you recommend?

I dont blame you, whereabouts are you? I have only been there twice from London and I feel and its a long old hike, I find the motorway part is ok but its the rest of the drive that seems to go on forever and tiring! but it is worth it when you get there!

LondonCat - Thanks for the tip. I will call and try the train. I think i also saw a post somewhere on there being a bus but that may have just been wishful thinking. On ebay i only saw one and the price they are asking I found very rude especially as a lovely lady let me know what the outlets were selling them for. I'm all for profit making blah blah blah but the mark up on that is insulting!

Hi all!
So I have been debating to see if I wanted to get Alexa or PS1 and I think after long consideration, I want Alexa! :yahoo:

But I don't seem to be able to locate the beautiful bag....I want either black or brown (tan?? I am sorry I am not an expert) and Net-a-porter has sold out...I thought about Ebay but don't want no fakes!!!

Does anyone know where I can find Alexa??

The mulberry site says they are coming soon? Hopefully they will restock unless all the orders go out to those on the waiting list.....not sure how that works to be honest. Net-a-porter did have one today so it may be worth checking back alot in case one pops back in. If you are in the uk it may be worth calling Harrods, Harvey Nics and the other dept stores as all have them on display....certainly the black one anyway....but I don't know if they are actually in stock. I think St.Christophers place had some black ones left (no oak though). Most post overseas anyway, I think ; but you get hammered with customs etc so thats not too good. Sorry for not being very helpful....I will let you know if I do see one though as I know all the other ladies on here will. I really like them now too.. :)

hi again! Yep there is defnitely one at net-a-porter. Its the regular though for the oak and the oversize for the black. This is the uk site though but I would give them a call if you are in the usa and maybe they can transfer....goood luck :)

I've only had my Alexa for a week now but I absolutely adore it!! I bought the regular sized Grape version which is a perfect size for me. I can fit quite a bit in it ; long locked purse, mitzy pouch with all my bits and pieces in it, a paperback book, iphone, two sets of keys and there is still plenty of space left. I love the fact you can wear it many ways ; messenger, carry by top handle, long strap on one shoulder or double the strap and wear as a shoulder bag. The only thing which bugs me is that when I wear it as a messenger bag one of the straps on the front taps the bottom of the bag!! Other than that I adore it! xx

Lillibear, The emerald suede bays is from the AW09 collection - same as the emerald ostrich bays. It's gorgeous. The colour is very similar to the suede on the (inside) flap on the ostrich bays if I remember correctly - so a little more blue and brighter green.
