First purse ever is the Proenza Schouler PS 11 mini Linosa Calfskin in Nice Tan. got it at Barney's Philly during my graduation trip w family. I remember it was ~$1100 after discount but was still a major purchase at the time, with my part-time job in college making state minimum salary lol.
Second was SLP Large college, in a glossy vintage-looking leather which I believe is seasonal. This piece means a lot for me. It's a gift to myself after I overcame a huge challenge in my professional life. It's a great travel & work bag, the interior is designed for function. I'd love to carry it to work but as a more junior employee I want raises and I don't want coworkers know my designer bags

Then there came the Céline mini belt in Amazone green; it's a gift from bf. I knew I always wanted a Céline and got this during the last days of old Céline with an accent é. I love this bag (well, I love EVERY bag in my collection) but this looks a bit big on me - also depends on outfit. Also came the Gucci Dionysus bamboo top handle in Navy. I particularly love the snake(or tiger?) hear buckle with sapphire-like crystal, and the bamboo handle - all Gucci elements but not screaming Gucci. this bag also comes with a wide shoulder strap which is practical since the bag is heavy.
Most recent addition is Chanel Reissue size 226 in Patent Caviar, Burgundy color. first time ever got pre-owned bag (and first Chanel Bag) and the condition didn't disappoint. The color is more a very saturated red like my fav Tom ford smokey red nail lacquer. I believe it's a limited release in 2014; patent caviar is rare in the market... Definitely not a "classic" that's good for investment purpose - I don't care about investment tho I have no plan to sell any of my bags, but I love the uniqueness and the pop! Being said I didn't plan for a Chanel Bag in my 20s but she's a total surprise beyond expectation.
Also the SLGs - 2 YSL Kate WOC w tassel. they are beautiful and meticuously made, but I can't fit my car keys in, so I use them very rarely.. but a deep & a light color can get me thru most occasions like year-end parties. they are great as room decor as well. The all black YSL compact wallet is a better alternative to the monogram cardcase imo, it's the only designer item I take with me to work because it's discreet. the Fendi monster wallet (tbh; it's a very high quality fake) I bought during college

Being said, my preference in bags is classic with a twist - seasonal/LE color, texture etc. when I make purchase decision color is very important. I want to keep my collection under 10 for now so variation is important. Also I feed very blessed to be able to afford them at a relatively speaking young age, so I'm not purchasing anything new in short term, but cherish what I have

(Haven't thought about color & size, but I'm particular looking for them in exotic leather. )
