Delightful MM and Graceful MM

Graceful!!! I love the sides and I feel they definitely improved the design. I sold my DF because it looked a bit boring to me compared to the Graceful.
I'm a fan of the gracefulDelightful and totally agree with MyMelodyLV above!
So I would have to say this depends on how tough you are on bags. While I love my Delightful and even declare it my favorite bag by far. But I have to say I have seen some nasty looking Delightful’s with dirty vachetta on top of the bag, strap and the trim scuffed something awful - not attractive at all. Dark patina and wrinkled is one thing but dirty is definitely another. So I would say the Graceful if you are tough on bags setting them anywhere and what not. I have looked at the Graceful and I have to say not a bad bag and believe me the Delightful is no better made than the Graceful. Worries about cracked canvas on the top smh really the Artsy only some people had issues with cracking while others were fine. Honestly I think most of the issues were self inflicted. Not to mention if that does happen LV will replace the bag. What they won’t do is replace a bag because of nasty vachetta - the leather yes but probably not for free. I think the Graceful will do well with quite few with the minimal vachetta. Again while I love my Delightful from looking upon both bags side by side the Graceful carries a tad more dressed up look - the Delightful is bit more casual (Even though I have worn it with a skirt suit). The pleats on the side of the Graceful add that dressy taste to it. I don’t particularly care about luggage tags on bags but that can always be removed. Love both bags for different reasons.
I could not agree with you more! I love my Delightful however it is a casual bag. The Graceful is an Artsy/Delightful mix & such a classy look.
I’m totally in love with my Monogram Delightful MM. I use it everyday and the vachetta has turned a beautiful honey patina. I’ve taken excellent care of her since buying her 2 plus years ago. Today, I went to the LV store to show them some spots where my canvas was cracking and also a spot on the trim that looks like a small hole where the bag kind of folds over itself. I was pleasantly surprised when they immediately said they’d replace the bag. I was shocked and disappointed to find out they no longer make the Delightful and therefore my replacement will be Graceful. I took the credit and told them I need time to think it over. I’m torn. What should I do? I love my Delightful SO much. The Graceful looks cheaper to me in some ways. Will I regret trading Delightful for Graceful?

I replied to you in the Graceful warehouse. But at this point the Delightful is done and the Graceful is the closest you will get to the Delightful any other hobo LV has is going to have much more weight. Maybe look at some other bags before deciding.
Such a bummer. I’m sorry to hear about your bag. I think the graceful is a beautiful bag, but I really love my delightful so I understand your conundrum. I would look at other bags as suggested above. If you are open to preloved, there are definitely those in the market!
If I had to choose between the two, I might have to go with my delightful, but I also haven’t played with graceful in person.
I haven't seen either in person, but was smitten by how the Graceful looks; since I've just bought that in DE, I'm biased for it. Looks like the Delightful is not even available in the DE print, so no contest there. Hoping the bag will be just as impressive-looking IRL!
