Forgot to add, there is no interior pocket in my pochette; I think this is included in the pochette gm. I didn't want this size as it looks too big and is a tad "masculine" for my tastes.

Btw. Here are other colors from their canvas line. Mine is the last one:

I wouldn't have minded a white pochette, but they didn't have any

Your pochette is gorgeous! And i agree I love the white! How is the quality of the canvass and how would you compare to goyard?

Thanks! I think if I ever got a bag from the Lulu line, I would get it in the white. I think the contrast between the white and red would be gorgeous!

BTW, I love the white canvas on the Jeanne bag as shown here, too :amuse:

As for how the canvas compares, I don't own any Goyard, so I wouldn't be able to tell you. However, I'm assuming that Delage canvas would be much thicker than Goyard because the texture is comparable to my older LV bags and SLGs. I have heard LV canvas is heavier duty than Goyard. It's really bumpy and thick; however, the Delage is probably rougher in texture than the LVs, IMO. I took a pic of the canvas one against the other so you can see what I mean:

Overall I think the quality is good, especially for the price you pay. It is VERY reasonable. I've been using my wristlet everyday and I just love it! :flowers:

Thank you for your feedback! I have yet to own a Goyard and what makes me hesitate is the feedback on quality! LV canvass pretty much holds up against any abuse [emoji2] i did not know there was a jeanne with the canvass! It's beautiful! Now I want one!

I know, isn't it pretty? I think for that one, though, you would need to email them since it's not on their retail website.

I bought a Delage Ginette bag this spring in their London store in Notting Hill (as far as I know, the only Delage store - they have popups/showroom in Paris perhaps?) I got it in their classic/brand baby blue color (I believe they call it "menthe"). It has a lovely rich burgundy red interior with some simple pockets. I also like that there's a nice discreet exterior pocket for my phone. Pictures don't fully do it justice.

Lovely everyday bag, well made and has "Chanel like" styling but has its own uniqueness with the vertical quilting. I'm a big fan of it and actually carry it the most out of all my bags due to its size, elegant shape, and efficiency. The leather while beautiful (calf?) seems like it can take some wear and tear, too.

Also if I recall the London store didn't have VAT setup at the time so I got a good discount off the bag - I think 20%.

I hope Delage catches on - very ladylike with beautiful colors!

OMG, your bag is gorgeous, congrats!!! I think they do have a pop up in Paris; I don't recall reading about an actual boutique in France. The interior is red calf, correct? I like how their leather bags are also leather lined, which is hard to find unless one goes super high-end.

I hope they catch on, too. The bags are very pretty and the prices are good. The owner of the maison was such a lovely person to correspond with; very personable, probably the best international transaction I've had!

I use my pochette plate everyday on a regular basis and it has held up amazingly. I really want to get the Jeanne bag next. Not sure if I want to do all leather or get it in the Lulu canvas for a more casual look.

I'm pretty sure the interior is red lamb - it's very soft and luxurious, and a surprise considering the sturdiness of the bag and the price point (as you say). And the in-store boutique in London was small but oh-so-elegant! A really fantastic shopping experience. I do think Delage has all the elements to be on the up-and-up :)

The Jeanne bag is on my list, too - especially in a fun color like gold where the price point for a "seasonal" or "special" bag is completely reasonable. If you ever find yourself in London, do visit the store! They had a much larger selection of bags than one can see on the website :)

I would love to go to the store in London! I saw that they had a Black Friday sale last week and I was tempted to email them and ask if they would do international shipments, haha.

You are right, the online catalog is pretty sparse. I actually had to email them personally to get the pochette plate (Paris, not London) and they invoiced me and sent me a payment link (much like what I had to do with Faure Le Page, which is another brand). I only knew about that they had accessories because I follow them on Instagram!

can you update us with a review? how is the wear and tear and is this bag heavy? thanks :)

Hi there, Delage Paris really has beautiful leather bags of great quality, with their red lamb leather lining inside their leather bags, and red cotton lining inside their canvas bags. You can pimp your Delage bag with their key chains / pompons.
I found the Delage Paris brand online at www.pauline-bags.be/delage-women. If I do have to make a choice, I definitely would go for Ginette in mastic fur ;). On their instagram page pauline_bags_accessories, I found another great Delage bag, of which picture enclosed... really considering on taking this statement piece for this summer

I might pick up the Lulu this summer, I might even go to Paris just to visit their store. I love the different colour options and the reasonable price, of course!
Oh wauw, sounds great!
I just found mine (white canvas/grey leather/red cotton lining and additional white pompom) in the Belgian multibrand (online) store PAULINE: http://www.pauline-bags.be/delage-women-1. If you want another colour than available in her store, just send the shop a short mail an they check whether other colours are in stock at the Parisian supplier. Very smooth operation!!
And yes, of course the price is very reasonable for this high quality bag (I've been told that the canvas is made in the same factory as the canvas from the LV Neverful bag) and ... with this Delage Lulu we stand out of the crowd
I really love my new summer bag!!
PS: I'm not sure if Delage, which still is a small, not yet well known Parisian l uxury brand as far as I've been told, has a store in Paris. If you plan to go there, I suggest you to contact them first...

Beautiful bag!!! I've looked at the Lulu totes and debated on getting one myself but I have too many . I think I may get the Jeanne clutch instead.

The prices are definitely more reasonable than some of the other well known French brands out there.:heart:
