I know. I even tried my personal email address, thinking work may have blocked it, but nothing. I have given up. I have spent my money on another Massaccesi bag instead.

This is really strange. I wrote with them just shortly before and they replied within 1-2 working days. I got the last message from Andrea on July 4th. Then they processed my order and now I am waiting for delivery.

Ok, prepare for a longer story: In a nutshell, the customer service is excellent, but I ended up without a bag for now... I ordered the Anna 26 in taupe with a leather interior which cost EUR 25.- extra. Gold hardware was not possible. Communication was great and the bag safely arrived. However, I thought it came with the wrong strap: As it turned out, on the website there is described and pictured a 100 cm strap but today, all Annas come with the adjustable strap for cross-body wear. They were very nice, though, and offered me the shorter strap I preferred. There was, additionally, a problem with the zipper not sewn in correctly and a problematic stitch in a crucial place which would unravel sooner or later. First, they offered a discount, then, they said they would be happier if I returned the bag to their cost as they want their customers to be perfectly happy. So - I will send the bag back, get a refund and am free to order a new one as soon as they are back from their holidays in September. I wanted the bag for a christening, but this occasion is now over. I will think whether to order afresh or another bag or move on or visit them in Rome or I do not know yet... I share my pictures here, you can see the way too long strap adjusted to a length of 100 cm and a close-up of the interior leather. Smell and feeling of the bag‘s leather and its hardware were fine, BTW! And it is very lightweight.

wow! the bag looks beautiful. I'm sorry you had to go through the hassle. What was the stitching problem?
So are you still going to get the same model and color?

Thank you! Yes, with ordering a bag unseen you never know. It might just have been very unfortunate! The stitch was very large and just over the point where the flap is attached to the bag - where the tension is when you open and close IYKWIM. On the other side, it was safely sewn over with several small stitches. I guess it will snap sooner or later and then the whole stitching might unravel...
I really do not know yet!
