Pauillac Welcome back! Don't worry about the 50 pages, just jump right in, it's
page 1 for you!!! Boy, don't you just love H math, why even bother with calculator
in H. I wouldn't remember how to use it,anyway. My eyes just glaze over, and one time my best friend walked in the store and I didn't even recocognize her!!

I think we need to start calling you "The Barefoot Queen", notice I have one-
uped you on Ina:graucho: I wonder if your boss should think about a "Fall
Harvest" for next year, Pumpkins perhaps!! I think they are easy to grow, pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread, pumpkin butter.......etc. Now I can't wait to
hear about the fabulous recipes in November for cookies! BTW, I will be
making the pilgrimage to Santa Maria Novella on Saturday, have to go to
pick up my Clic Clac that was being repaired. Now, is there anything from
SMN that you would like me to get for you. I desperately need some more
Potpourri, you have me so hooked on this delightful line!:D

Oh, please don't say "Fall Harvest" too loudly, pamella. He's very big on "Fall Harvest" parties every year, and those keep me busy for weeks.

(Him: "Do you think you could do a little party up at the farm for maybe about 30 people"? Me: "Sure." Him (maybe a week or so before the party): "Oh, I invited a few more people." Me: "Oh, really? How many do we have now?" Him: "Oh, around 75." Me: "Damn" (said under my breath through gritted teeth, as I hurl something at his head, as he's running for the door.)

My only saving grace this year is the daughter's wedding in early October in Jackson Hole. All efforts seem to be focused on that little event at this point. I think the fall harvest is actually going to slip by without a party celebrating it this year.:yahoo:

Oh, pick me up one of everything at Santa Maria Novella, please. Just give me a few days to sell an H. bag to pay for it.

I have a few that I never seem to wear too, scarf mama. When I started buying them on eBay, I went a little crazy, and bought
everything I even remotely thought I might like. Now I'm being more selective and buying less. But more often than not, I favor the
older designs over the new ones, and some really great oldies turn up on the bay...

I'm feeling a need for a Crafty Scarf Swap here!:p

The Crafty Furbie Honor System! Hummmm:graucho: Now if the number
one "dibber" changes her mind, does she pass on the item to the number
two "dibber"?? And on down the line:D So let's see, will we have a
"dibbers" list?

Yes, good idea, p. If minds are changed, a note should be posted on Crafty, so if there's anyone else wanting that particular scarf, they have the go-ahead to bid (or snipe!);)

I think I have to un-dib this. The ending time is sooooo not going to work for me, and it's not my first choice colour anyway, so if there's someone who want's it - go for it!

Lola, sweetie, you must use auctionsniper.com to place your bid 2-3 seconds before the auction ends. You don't have to be anywhere near a computer. It's a godsend, and you usually end up getting the item for less too.

Hello! I feel like I've been gone for weeks and knowing I'm 45 (now 50) pages behind, I'm sure you guys were up to no good but having a very good time!

I'm the finance person in the family, so I'm the one that doesn't want to know how many scarves have been purchased over two decades but I do know it isn't over 400 but it is a lot. Unfortunately, I'm a human calculator. I do seem to get over it when I'm inside a Hermès boutique - then I just do H-math, for which I know we all have a PhD! :D

Pauillac, 400? Wow, you and Vick are going to have to have a duel. Smoking silks at sunset in the H corral, I guess.:p

Thank you for letting me know, Lily, I also saw the Trophees and immediately added it to my Watching List, I'm glad to know you are interested, I won't bid on it, I'll go for Hemisphaerium Coeli item 200509748218 instead, but it depends on how the other items I'm bidding finish... it's been an expensive month for my pp account! :graucho:

Ooooooooo, that's a beautiful one too, bmary. If I change my mind about Trophees, I'll certainly post a note.

Good luck on your other auctions. What have you found?
