That's a priceless story LGA!! Particularly the very mature comment about her tonsils!! Ahh, out of the mouths of babes! Would have loved to have heard your response to the "other kid" comment too! ;)

OH DEAR...WHERE ARE TILLIE'S FIREWORKS EMOTICONS WHEN I NEED THEM????!...my poor dear husband just had to take our 17 year-old daughter out shopping for clothes for her trip to South Africa next week!!!! Needless to say, I wouldn't wish that task on my worst enemy, but as I am not able to drive yet and certainly not strong enough for a shopping excursion of any kind, it was left to him! :nuts: Both of them just left, already exchanging "words" on how futile this trip will be!! My poor husband was starting to say things like "This isn't how I want to spend my Saturday!"...and "This will end in disaster!!"...and my daughter was saying....
"I don't see why I need a fleece jacket to wear in South Africa (remember, it's winter there now)...I have hoodies...don't you know what a hoodie is mom?!"...YIKES...combine a daughter who hates shopping, with a husband who hates shopping even more, and that spells D-I-S-A-S-T-E-R!!! :cursing::cursing:

HFurbies, will catch up shortly, but I just came from seeing the 2011 Spring style book - and all I can say is, Wow. There are some VERY cool things there. Wait til Ms Lily does her thing.....

Hclub - all I can say is, no good can come out of that shopping trip, right?

^^^Hi Shelby!! Lucky you...seeing the Spring/Summer 2011 style book...Ohhh how I would have loved to have been peering over your shoulder! I've been checking all day for Lily's thread, but nothing yet. Poor thing is probably pooped! And you're soooo right about the father/daughter shopping trip...they came home with two pairs of jeans...husband griping VERY loudly about the price of jeans, and daughter griping VERY loudly about father's bad mood! :nuts:

Okay, furbies, I'm back. The pictures are filed, and I'm going to start posting. Look for the goodies to come on a new thread with Spring in the title (nothing snappy is coming to me right now!)

Birkin Mary - Madrid and orange boxes!? Where are the pictures?

Hclubfan - relieved to learn your appetite is back, that's a good sign! ANd your DH to take care of you, and Teddy too. Although I had to laugh at the "stolen childhood" line for asking your daughter to do laundry. Maybe it's agood your eldest daughter doesn't like shopping toomuch?

Tillie- Phew, the emoticons are back to normal...but still hoping for those "crazed cabin crew" stories! Or at least what we naive passengers should do to make sure we are nice to them!

Allaborsa - hope DH is feeling better. Knee surgery- ouch!

Mojo - still no jersey? What a mess, although if you do get three of them...you can exchnage for antoher oclourway?

LILY....IT'S LIKE CHRISTMAS IN JULY!!!! I've been like a kid in a candy store all day, checking and re-checking for your post!!! Don't you want to take a little nap, or have a glass of wine before you start??? You must be exhausted (or is the adrenaline still coursing through your veins?!) :flowers::hugs:

Hi MiaT...missed you! I too have been soooo excited for Lily's reveal...what else is there to do on a rainy day in Toronto when you're stuck inside recovering from surgery?!?!? I've already eaten 23 cakes in the past week, so time to move on to a less damaging form of escape!

Dear Hclubfan! You could use the calories, you need to have the strength to fight! Cakes are good anyway! :graucho:

MiaT DH is doing very well thank you so much for asking. We went for a little ride today and he seems much happier to get out of the house...me too!

lily once again thank you so much for the info. Living where I do I'm not sure where or when I would ever get to see anything not on H.com...not a trip planned anywhere near a store :shucks:
