Looks like the perfect choice--gold on black?
I was going to suggest the Chanel with gold or silver rather than black-on-black. Disclosure--I don't know Chanel at all and don't know what the options are. I'm also a huge fan of Celine. But the black-on-black Chanel looked a little boring to me (I do love the Chevron), while the Celine looked too bright and flashy. I was going to suggest something between the two and, for the price you're paying, I think the Chanel is more versatile, classic, and a better investment. Spend less on a bright red small bag (Celine trio, for example).

Yeah I already own a Chanel flap with GHW in the old medium, and a Chanel boy with SHW in a small, so a so black jumbo seemed like it wouldn't be redundant in my collection.
I saw the celine box in a gorgeous tan/camel coloured python called light copper!! It's sitting there on my wishlist in the back of my mind.
I already own a celine trio in a gorgeous pastel mint green color, but I'm on the hunt for a small red bag and I think my hunt is over. In love with this mini coco camera bag in red (pic), I wouldn't say no to a quilted caviar WOC with SHW
