Decisions! Chanel VS Celine

Can't quite decide which of these gorgeous bags I need in my life, if any. The contenders are the ever famous Chanel Chevron Jumbo in All Black or the breathtaking Celine Python Box Bag in Vermillion.

These are both super rare bags as is. The SA at Chanel said they only have 10 of the chevron jumbos in all of Japan. And as for the Celine box, the store only had the one.

I'm so conflicted. Do I need these? And which one??

I love love love the celine box bag. But in this case I would have to say so black jumbo. It looks amazing on you!

I already own a caviar flap in the old medium with GH, a caviar CC WOC with SH, and a gorgeous lambskin small boy. The jumbo would potentially be the biggest Chanel in my family

Well, I am not a usual poster in the Chanel forum (any longer). My hangout forum of choice these days is Hermes. Never been a fan of Celine. I find their bags too trendy or faddy. That said, I was a huge collector of Chanel for quite a few years and have amassed more than 25 bags. However, I think the responses would be the same, even in the Celine forum. There is no contest in terms of brand history, chicness, class and last but certainly not least, resale value. Chanel, for now, wins every time. Good luck deciding.

I like the Jumbo. More of a classic, not a fad bag. Of course, I know more about Chanel and nothing about Celine Either one will be a beautiful addition to your collection.

Just to let you know, I have a Jumbo, and it can be heavy. I don't know if that is a factor in your decision, but I thought you should know.
