As some of you know I recently picked up the Bleecker Preston Large Coated Canvas bag and wristlet (30173) with white and sunglow stripes for my upcoming Caribbean vacation.

The price was great ($132) and I loved the bag but I hesitated to keep it because I already have several beachy bags and I always overpack.

Well, today I decided to keep the Preston but I still plan to take my Audrey Fish Tote and Shell Wristlet with me, too. I will just have to leave something else behind to lighten my luggage!

I think this bag is more versatile than my other beachy bags and that it will make a great travel bag. It is lightweight, balances well on my shoulder, roomy and opens wide, and the coated canvas should resist stains.

So I cut the tags and took the bag outside to spray the white leather trim and handles with Apple Rain Garde for protection. Then I had to make the difficult decision about how to decorate this bag. I like to decorate my bags with fobs, it gives me an excuse to buy more fobs!

I also have a weakness for beach-themed fobs so I have lots of choices: mermaid, crab, fish, octopus, shells (leather), shells (metal), snorkel and mask, and a flamingo.

I tried them all and decided that I like the patent leather red Crab fob 92705 best with this bag; so here she is all decorated and ready to travel! Unfortunately, I'm not ready.

Excellent choice! The crab looks great. I think this bag will be the perfect complement to your beach vacation. Make sure to take some pics of your Coach bags in action for us. I hope you have tons of fun!
