So on the one hand we have: generic black, pretty top coat, pricey.

And on the other we have: Lady Gaga, Holographic sparkly goodness, Deborah Lippmann pretty pretty bottles, and Extremely Limited Edition so everyone will be envious and lemming your fabulous new beauties.

The flakies on the dark base makes it look like Orly's Fowl Play, to my eyes. Frankly i find this combo disappointng, yes the flakies are lovely but when you paint a layer of flakies over a creme it doesn't have the same depth that the Nfu Oh flakies have and Elle's Spell, and im sure Clairvoyaint aka Unicorn Puke has though as yet haven't seen. If you want pretty flakies for layering i would suggest checking out Golden Rose, they have a whole line of flakie polishes that are very inexpensive (I'm pretty sure you could get the whole line almost for the price of this combo set).

Its gorgeous.. but no different then a black base coat.. and a duo-chrome flakies in sheer base.

Its been done so many times.. by Inglot & NFU Oh & Nubar.

Its not holographic at all. I bet it would be nice with a Holo Top Coat though.

I love all her different color swatches. I'm pretty glad I bought it - I don't have any flakies!

Has anyone used the Deborah Lippmann cuticle oil or cuticle remover? I'm thinking of getting the set on HSN with those two, a cuticle pusher, nail file, but I'm not sure. Thought I'd get someone else's opinion on the two!
