Does anyone know if Revlon's Facets of Fuschia is almost an exact dupe of Deborah Lippman's Bad Romance?

It looks alot alike.. but haven't tried em both.

I think they are very similar...I have both but I haven't swatched the Revlon yet. Some of the nail blogs I read say they are dupes:

i know they are crying dupe but i think the revlon one looks to have more or more dense glitter than the lippmann one.

The saleslady at the Walgreens makeup counter was wearing the Revlon dupe on her nails, and it looked like the worst formula--thick and gritty, and she said she was wearing Seche Vite top coat! I don't have Bad Romance yet, but I would definitely pass on Facets of Fuchsia.

I found the supposed dupe for Ruby Red Slippers, NYX Girls "Dorothy". I haven't used it yet, but it looks very similar in the bottle.

I'm a huge DL fan, so if it's not a very good dupe, I'll know it.

The lacquer lounge blog states that the revlon is a little thicker.. that and more glitter.. which is never a bad thing. I am just wondering if they both wear the same way.

Just bought the Revlon yesterday and have had the DL on my ever growing list of wants....forever now.

Yeah, I think it's very close but the Revlon has a lot more micro glitter which contributes to gritty texture. I am going to swatch it today and post the results here if I have time.

ok let me say that this forum and this thread is very bad for a persons self control it's created some serious lemmings for me it's even responsible for me finally taking the dive and finally deciding i need to get me some blue polish, well blue green really, love mermaidy colors. so hence me getting Across the Universe some time in the near future.

But i have a question for you Call Me Irresponsible the purple jelly...has anyone done a comparison color wise between it and Nfu Oh jellies? Because I love purple and i would like CMI but i already have Nfu Oh's JS 28 and in the pictures they look similar but i haven't seen side by side swatches so i cant be sure and i dont want to spend that much on polish for something thats almost a dupe of something already in my collection, i would rather get Glitter in the Air or maybe Today was a Fairytale.

To be honest and i know this will be bad considering that this is the DL thread but i'm not sure if i like glitter. Now please put the rotten tomatos away, it's just that i really like my polish to be smooth and shiney...I do have a major glitter Nubar's Violet Sparkle but i'm scared of the hopla it will be to take off in spite of the silver foil trick. Because I have gel on top of my nails to strengthen them, because i work with my hands, and the silver foil will take the gel or whatever it is off as well and to get them redone is more expensive then just having them filled in...so any advise?
