After reading about your experience with the top coat I decided to do a Lippmann mani tonight with Addicted to Speed top coat. I just finished and it dried pretty quickly for me.

The true test will be if I wake up with sheet marks in the morning but so far so good.:p I'm able to type away with no worried of dings.

So sorry it didnt work for you. But I know the success of products vary from person to person

I decided to go with call me irresponsible and a backup of naked because I'm wearing it so much for work! I couldn't help buy order that gorgepjs purple because of your picture! Yay you :) oh btw I got my shampoo too!! I picked the colour treated one and it smells divine. I'm super excited to use it after I've visited the salon. (ps. Nail polish party!!)

Yorkdale is getting dont tell mama as the free colour. Which puts me back at square one! Maybe I will get billionaire...

I was just posting in another thread about Addicted to Speed and it reminded me that I needed to come here and rave!

I recently did a complete mani using all Lippmann (base coat, polish and top coat). It was Fri night. I am so please and my mani is wearing like IRON!

I've done a ton of manual labor and my mani has not been affected. yardwork, digging, cleaning, washing, etc.,. Its so crazy because when I first put on the particular polish that I'm wearing I wasnt planning on wearing it for a long time.

And I keep waiting for a chip or even tip wear and ......NOTHING. I know its only been a few days but normally if I'm rough on the hands with certain activities then my mani takes a beating.

I'm sold. I've always loved Lippmann polishes but this was my first mani using her base coat and top coat. They are keepers for me

I used Lippmann Ridge Filling base coat and Addicted to Speed top coat

This is GREAT to know! I'm new to both this subforum and to DL. I've watched a few videos on Youtube from DL and have been trying to figure out which of the base and top coats to invest in that will give me the best manicure possible. I am definitely going to be making some purchases now.

Finally took the plunge and ordered Glitter in the Air and Across the Universe! I hope I get them soon! I own probably 20 nail polishes total so I don't normally splurge on polish, but I've been drooling over these for a while! :yahoo:

Thanks for sharing! I'm constantly wondering when I should/shouldn't splurge and get the full treatment system for a particular brand, since I'd always rather spend my $$ on polish colors, and just enough on topcoats/basecoats to get me by. I'm going to add these to my next shopping list!

Yep I really like them so far. I have other products from her nail care system and plan on giving them a try too.
