So i got the mirror chromes in the mail (minus the peridot clone) and if u haven't already YOU MUST LOOK INTO SUGAR DADDY!
I'm wearing it now and ive been trying to capture the colors/effect it gives off, but its impossible... i will say it looks like the reflection of a california sunset on the ocean-- GORGEOUS! my sister put on private dancer and its a nice one too... don't think its as utterly unique as sugar daddy though...
anyway heres mermaids dream taken using my ghetto blackberry.

Is it just me or were people thinking that "mirrored chromes" would be CRAZY shiny? I was thinking a polish that was almost like some of those nail wraps. I want all 3 of these polishes though. Time to start saving up!

thanks! yeahh i think calling them "mirrored chromes" was a bit of a misnomer on lippmann's part. sugar daddy gives me more of a duochrome vibe, and private dancer... well i don't even know if i'd call it a duochrome? the more i look at it (on my sister's hand lol) the more it just looks like a flat metallic purple. I remain impressed with sugar daddy though. i think the closest thing i have to what might be a "true" mirror chrome is nars space odyssey...
I think companies love to inflate expectations and give product names and descriptions that don't correspond to reality at all. 
I wasn't able to find swatches of Sugar Daddy but I'm intrigued that Tzella likes it so much. Could you take a pic of Sugar Daddy and Private Dancer? Or link to blog swatches?

I really like the purple one, but I'm worried it'll be too cool-toned for me. Hopefully the color shift is strong enough!
o i clicked on through to the scrangie review and I'm glad she and i are more or less in agreement lol. i think she got the color of sugar daddy really well, but i should emphasize that in the sunlight the pink factor you see a glimpse of in the last picture is OUT OF CONTROL. now all i need is a real sugar daddy and I'm set. cough.
Yup! But do not discount the magic that is Scrangie. She does that with almost everything.
^ Sugar Daddy is indeed the standout after looking at the swatches. I'm a bit sad I didn't get it. But as pretty as it is, I know the color won't work on me.
^ I'm feeling the same way too, though I think Peridot works better on my skin tone than Swagga Like Us
