Do it!!! Candy shop is my very favorite glitter, and probably the only polish I own that I dont think would benefit from a coat of CtD... I use 2-3 coats of candy shop and top it with 1 coat gelous and 1 coat SV. I like my polish to be completely glassy and smooth, if you're not as picky you could probably just use SV.

Another vote for Candy Shop! I love it! Reminds me of a strawberry frosted donut with sprinkles! I had no problem applying it or with it being gritty

Thanks so much for the help. I do like a nice smooth mani, but I have never tried Gelous. Maybe I will purchase and try with SV and see how it goes. ;)

Sooo i have a question for all the lippmann experts out there. I just ordered a couple lippmanns from a blog sale and seeing the two bottles together, one says deborah lippmann on the front and the other says lippmann collection, why? Whats the difference between them? ( aside from color obviously.) The two colors are some enchanted evening and holiday.

I don't remember when but she changed the name of her polishes from Lippmann Collection to Deborah Lippmann

sigh i bought mermaid's dream, stormy weather, i know what boys like and glitter in the air from barney's yesterday and came home to find mermaid's dream missing :c i know i must have lost it somewhere because i checked in the ride home and they were still safe and sound :c :c

anyway swatches of i know what boys like and glitter in the air (with nail art)
