DE or Monogram NF

Hi Everyone.
Hope you had a lovely Christmas and hope your 2021 is better than 2020...
I am thinking about my wish list for next year and really want a LV NF in MM...
I have read so many reviews and watched many YouTube videos but I am stuck between the monogram and DE print.
I already own the Alma and speedy 30 in DE so would getting the NF in this print be too much? I live in London so not sure the Monogram would be as easy to wear without thinking when it’s raining/bad weather.
I love both prints... maybe I would need both in my collection in the future! Does anyone else have multiple LV bags in the same print?
I also wonder is the red interior of the DE more carefree than the beige interior of the Monogram as it’s darker.

I have the monogram, but since you live in London, I would go with the DE! That way you don't have to worry about it. The Alma and Speedy are completely different, so I don't think it matters. I have more than one DE, more than one monogram but they are different styles. You will love whichever you decide, but given the weather, why not get the more carefree one.

Hi, I have both. I got the DE first and then today picked up the LV NF Monogram (MIF). They had the Monogram in beige and the red interior. I chose the red interior for the Monogram as I find it easy to clean with just a squeezed out cloth and dabbing. I was going to take the beige too but ended up getting a OntheGo (another one). All the DE red interior is sold out online and my SA recommended that Monogram with the red interior as she said it's just nicer.

I say if you can, get both and switch it up.

There's a clip to clip it together and if you want more security, clinch the sides in then that's pretty secure. It looks pretty clinched in the sides.

Im also in the UK and deciding between mono and de. I think I’m going to go for de with rose ballerine interior as I’m worried about red corners on cherry lining. Let me know if your happy with yours. They all seem to be in stock right now which is unusual. Might buy now in case of price increase in January.

I always hear people said NF is too open/not secure. For me, I love the BIG zip pocket inside. I can put all my important stuff (wallet/passport/phone) there and I usually hang my keys on the D ring inside. So far I never had any security issues with my NF. I like to cinching my NF when I wear it, so yeah it’s pretty secure to me. You can also use bag organizer, I saw some member here use bag organizer with zipper.
If you are worried about vachetta, you can get in DE. Both are gorgeous. Good luck on deciding..

I'm rather petite so I have the PM. It fits under my arm and there's not really enough room for someone behind me to put their hand in there. Otherwise it's on the crook of my arm. If I travel or need to lay this down for a metal detector, I use a different bag. I've had mine since 2008 and haven't had a problem with it being open.

Thank you! What a gorgeous photo. I don’t know why I’m so attracted to DE with the red!! I’ve seen some bag liners with a zip so may have to invest when the bag arrives. Xx

I can recommend trying Love Lolo liners, they are 2mm so not as rigid as the 3mm ones from Handbag Angels. Samorga also do 2mm. I won’t buy thicker than this as they are just too bulky.

I see most NFs are now out of stock, I thought it was odd to see them all in stock last week. Very glad I placed my order in time!

How much did the Samorga one end up costing you? I’ve heard there’s a huge shipping fee! I’ll check out the love lolo- despite Handbag angels ones being great quality I find I can’t fit anything in my bag after so I will keep an eye out for 2mm! I also found another brand called Mono Luxury- it gets so confusing haha I definitely want one with a zip though.

I’m so excited for my NF to arrive now xxx
