I am a DY fan, so I definitely say KEEP! You can always get something w/more bling for dressier occasions in the future. These are perfect for everyday. And, you are right, they are more unique than the typical hoop earrings.

I think they are very nice. However, the moment you have the question, "Should I keep this or get something better" then that means you are not loving them. In that case, I would return them and buy something you really love.
