David Yurman price increase

I went in today and the salesperson told me it's only really on gold and most of the silver pieces won't really be expected. It wasn't my normal salesperson though so I'm not 100% sure.

so I just bought the 7mm silver cable bracelet with prasiolite domes (w/o diamonds) last night and it is definitely more $$$ from when I was looking at it in Dec. 2013. Then it was for $680 CAD now it was $730 CAD - I was unaware when I told the SA "ring me up" and came to $825 CAD with taxes!! So looks like that was a $50 increase!! :cray::shocked:

Has anyone else heard about this? I have my eye on a classic cable bracelet and the sales person I am working with just told me they are expecting a price increase on March 1st. I dont know if he is lying to me to try and get the sale earlier than I had wanted. My original plan was to save up my money and buy it for myself for my birthday which isn't until July.
I have googled and not able to find out if there will be a price increase but I read on this forum that last year they went up 20%?

If anyone has any insider info on this I would very much appreciate it,

Thanks,
Lisa

I've purchased a lot of David Yurman in solid gold and in silver. They have a price increase every year around the end of Ferbruary, in my experience.

Oh man... that is good to know. Thank you! So I guess the next step is to decide if I put it on my credit card and just pay down on that or if I wait and pay the extra money when I have all the cash... decisions, decisions :)

Another option is to try one of the David Yurman outlets.During special events, they take an additional 20% off the already reduced prices and they will ship to you. I haven't bought any David Yurman at retail since I found the outlets. Hope this helps!:smile1:
