David Yurman bracelet sizing?

I won an auction on eBay for an amethyst cable bracelet. It says it’s 6.75” for the size. I planned to give my mom it as a Christmas gift.

I stupidly forgot to check the sizing before I bid and now I’m worried it’ll be huge on her.

Is there a sizing chart somewhere?

Yes, go to DavidYurman.com... pick the bracelet you like, and the size chart can be converted to cm or inches. Good Luck.

Hi DAHU, that looks like a 3 millimeter, I have the 7 millimeter in YG and Amber end pieces. The great thing about buying the David Yurman Cable Classics is that you can manually stretch open the bracelet up and squeeze close the bracelet to fit you wrist for snugness or looseness. The David Yurman Online Size Chart didn't help me because I thought one size would look great on me from looking at the size chart, but when I went into David Yurman on Madison Avenue in NYC, a different size looked better with the end pieces closer toward touching each other with about a half inch of gap from end piece to end piece. I can bend it for a snug fit or open it up for a looser fit without it hoola-hooping around my wrist from being too big or leaving indentation in my skin from being too small. If you go too small, it seems to look too opened up, and it feels and looks too weird. Also, if it happens to move around to wear the opening is on the knuckle of your wrist, it is very uncomfortable and it could easily come off and you will loose your bracelet. If you go too large, you can never get a snug fit if that is what you desire currently or in the future because the end pieces shouldn't be kissing each other and when they do, you have nowhere to go with getting it to fit any closer or to make it more snug. Too large, will spend more time squeezing it closed and it will catch on anything you encounter like clothing, a table, etc. and you will loose your bracelet and won't even know it because of the weight. You might have to find one at a Neiman Marcus, Saks, etc just to try on to see for yourself... or pick a size, and if you don't like, send back for another size. I have a size in mind for you, but I really think you should see and try on your options before committing.

honored... My apologies for being verbose, I tend to do that from time to time. lol. I know my stuff, yes ? A very good choice for you because of the size and it being your very first. I'm a dude, so I wanted something more substantial to wear with my Cartier Love Bracelet, my Cartier JUC, my Tiffany T-Block bracelet and Bulgari brown leather cord with the large lobster claw (I forgot the name of it.) So the 7mm works for me... it all depends on your style, if you want a dainty piece or a bold piece, your wrist size, and what speaks to you when you see it, try it on... you know, the Dream it, Believe it, Be it motto.
Feel free to ask me as many questions as you like.

I just ordered this bracelet in xs and I’m a 16 in cartier. Will update when I receive it!

So the xs is basically the exact fit as my cartier 16. My wrist is 5.5 inches.

The bracelet itself is very dainty and beautiful and I think it goes really well with the loves.

I am a little worried about it getting bent out of shape with taking it off and on a lot since it is very thin.
