Does anyone own a DY 10mm bangle? I have a slightly larger than average wrist (it measures 6 3/4" around) and typically wear a 7.5 or 8" bracelet.

I "think" the 10mm will be fine but does anyone know what it measures end to end?

Thanks!

I have the 10mm bracelet, but it's not a bangle....it has a hinge in the center of the back of it. This bracelet is very generous in size.....here's a pic of mine....if this is the bracelet you are speaking of, I'll measure it for you.

Hey all! I just joined and this is the first thread I am starting. :D
For Graduation, I received the 4mm Cable Classics Bracelet with Gold. I tried the bracelet on at a DY store near me prior and the salesperson recommended the small. I received the bracelet from my mother in a small. After a couple of days I decided I would go in to DY and exchange it for the medium, thinking a small would be too small if I wanted to wear it with a watch or stack. I do plan on wearing it alone most of the time. Now that I wear it on my wrist, it seems a bit big and slides about two inches from my wrist bone. I thought it would be a good idea to seek advice on here. I have attached photos of the medium bracelet I have now on my wrist, including a photo that shows how much free space there is. Should I go back and exchange to the small again if possible?

If you want it to fit smaller, you can always pinch the ends together.

Mine fit me similarly if I just wear one, but I do stack mine with other DY or cuff-style bracelets and am grateful for the extra space :)

I think it looks fine!

Hi everyone! I dream of a DY bracelet but I’m trying to decide between two sizes, xs/s. My wrists are 5,5 inches. XS suitable for wrists up to 5,5 and S - from 5,5. I can’t visit the store and will order online.
Does anyone know the actual circumference of the bracelet? Will the XS size fit tightly on my arm?
I would like to have quite a bit of space between the arm and the bracelet but it shouldn’t hang out.
Thanks!

Hi!

If it's autumn/winter in your location, and if you measured your wrist during the day/ later in the day and the result is 5.5 - I'd recommend to get the S. As in summertime your wrist will be slightly wider, changing over the course of a day.

If however you're sure 5.5 is the widest your wrist will get, you could be gtg with the XS.

Kind regards,
Oliver

I agree with The_black_tie_diyer, also, the cuff can bend to make a closer fit, and bend open for a looser fit. I own the Cable Classic in 18kt yellow gold in 7mm with amber end pieces and it's one of the smartest pieces of jewelry I own. The 4mm which I recommend for you is thinner in dimension and will give you more flexibility and will allow you to bend more open or close for a closer fit. My 7mm is larger and still give to bend and will stay put without ever loosing it's position and form because its thicker and heavier, the 4mm you might have to adjust daily or a couple of times during the day to your liking. All in all, a fun piece of jewelry and looks great always. I've had mine for about a decade or so, and it still turns heads and has a gleam that is undeniable.
Let us know what you decide and show it off on a mod shot post.

Thanks so much for your answers! Yes, I’m thinking of a 4mm bracelet. I have time to decide but I’m leaning towards a larger size. I prefer to squeeze it to fit. It’s better than a too tight bracelet
Honored... The 4mm is nice, especially if you have a smaller wrist, and it's your preference. The larger 7mm is absolutely stunning and has the 'one bend and that's it effect'. It is a substantial piece. The 10mm is even larger, but doesn't leave much room to add other pieces, and depending on how you want to wear it, it seems to limit you. It doesn't allow you to bend it because it expands from the middle... However, to each their own... All lovely no matter what. What are you looking into, yellow gold, silver or the combo ? The yellow gold stays that way for life. The silver will tarnish, but tarnishes nicely.

I don’t like to part with my favorite pieces  so I chose the thinnest bracelet for 24/7 wear.
I'll start with silver, and then who knows
Great idea, you won't be disappointed. And who knows, you will only go up and beyond from there.... if not, you have a timeless classic on your wrist. Please post a mod pic when you get it, with your other bracelets and solo.... so proud of you.

I got the 3mm in XS today. My wrist is 5.5 inches as well. The XS fits perfectly and matches my love bracelet (size 15) which I have had for 2 years (so two summers already). The love bracelet never got too tight and I’m surprised by how lightweight the DY bracelet is. I can’t feel it and I’m not worried a our scratches.

if you do prefer a little more room though then go with S. I don’t like my bracelets to slide up and down too far and I prefer a tighter fit.

Already posted one of the pictures in the forum but for better comparison here you go again

Thanks for the answer! Your bracelets are amazing!
I do not like tight-fitting bracelets or dangling too much.
Trying to find a middle ground. The fit as in your first photo would be perfect for me. In any case, I already ordered s.
