Dark blue - best hardware

I think both PHW and GHW would look great - it really just depends on what look you're going for. My opinion is that a darker blue with GHW looks more classic, and they can simultaneously enhance the color out of the other (if that makes sense). With PHW, I definitely get a more casual look - but that's also my personal preference i.e. I only requested PHW for a B30 for dark blues/greens/purples and burgundy/rouge H (although with the exception of RGHW for blues haha). And for what I've seen in permabrass, I agree with others that it doesn't seem as complementary - almost fades or dampens out the color tones.
Since you don't have any PHW as of yet - this might be the opportunity to do so. Good luck!🍀

You should follow your own taste and consider what goes best with your wardrobe.
In general I find gold goes well with all colours but palladium is best avoided with the warmer spectrum of colours.
However, that said, gold and silver are very neutral - you really can't go wrong

You definitely can’t go wrong but I think this is one of those cases where the hardware choice strongly impacts the vibe of the bag. Although instinctively I have usually leaned towards palladium hardware, when it comes to mid/dark greys with a blue undertone and dark blues, I think gold is very striking and as others have said the gold tone enhances and enriches the leather colour. Palladium will give a modern, potentially more youthful vibe but IMO will definitely run cooler - it really depends on your personal aesthetic. Good luck with the decision!

If the SO option was there for you I would go for permabrass / rose gold with pink accents or pink verso. That would make for a very unique combination. Between gold and palladium, I would go with palladium for a slightly younger more modern vibe. Best of luck to you!

I have a B30 in Bleu Saphir with GHW and I love it. I agree with @Veritybelle and @jenngu that PHW will give the bag a more youthful/modern vibe. GHW (for me, at least) is more classic and brings out the depth and richness of the blue.

Yes, I just placed an SO for a multico with bleu navy and rouge H. For a blue bag, I would normally prefer PHW, but it looked funny to me with the red, so i went for permabrass (less yellow/bold than GHW, in my opinion). I probably could have gone either way, though!

The only true classic colors are: noir, gold, etoupe, and maybe rouge H.
