Just wanted to updated everyone. It's been 1 month and my eye still has not healed fully. I am still using the eye drops every single day. I was told in 2 weeks it would go away, but it didn't. Then finally English translator from DA took me to the eye doctor and they told me another 2 weeks it would go away. Well it's been a month and it's still not gone, but has improved. I would say it's 80% better. I have an appointment in a week with an eye doctor that specializes in eye surgery and PS on the eyes only to get his opinion.
From what I have read online about Chemosis it's supposed to be rare and only happens when surgery is done to any part of the under eye area which included the outter eye corners. In the US it happens about 10% of the time. Also they say it normally takes 4-8 weeks to completely heal but in some cases it takes many months and even is some rare cases surgery is needed to correct the problem.
However, in Korea the eye doctor told me it's very common and happens 80% of the time but clears up in 2 weeks.
Now, I'm stuck and have to find a doctor to care for my eyes in my own country. Ladies, be careful and please ask about complications. I was never told this could happen before the surgery.
