Damage/scratching when stacking Love bracelet?

If I insure it would it cover damage like that from wear and tear from stacking it ? X

I do worry about mine scratching & for a long time I would only wear it on its own but that was over two years ago & now I do wear other bracelets with it, I love stacking my 2 Hermes clic clacs but they seem to be the same size as the love bangle so they don't scratch the love bangle at all only the edges touch & if I'm wearing other bracelets I sometimes push my love up my arm & out of the way IYKWIM.
Try not to worry too much & enjoy your bracelet, Cartier can always polish it if it gets too bad :D

Depends on your policy. You have to check with your insurance company on that. But you have to send in the broken one, and they decide if it was a legit claim before you get replacement. There are not any cash out policies anymore, since Chubb stopped doing it due to fraud, so they would likely facilitate the replacement, but not give you money, unless there's a way they write it in for cash out.

That's perfect as I would want the replacement not the money , I would much prefer to get my exact bracelet back rather than money , I know it's very unlikely my bracelet would actually ever break its so thick I doubt it could ever happen x

Yes as long as you have accidental damage..... Are you in the UK ??
Yes in the uk :)
If they allow you to replace the exact item that's exactly what I'd want
I buy my jewellery because u love it and I want to enjoy wearing it so knowing if it's damaged it will be replaced is a big peace of mind :)
I'm not talking about replacing it if it scratches or anything petty I mean like an actual break
I'm not even sure of this has ever happened to a love bracelet?
It's so solid when I knocked it it cut my wrist open and didn't appear to damage the bracelet at all X

I'm in the UK too & as long as you have accidental & its named on your insurance then you would be OK, most insurance companies would arrange for a replacement minus your excess :)

Its definitely solid so I don't think it would break easily, when I was buying mine the SA was telling me they once had one in for repair that was all bent but they managed to sort it out.

Wear it & enjoy it but I know when I first got mine I was so paranoid about scratches but now I don't take any notice.

Hi designerdiva,

May I know in which store did you get the LOVE? This is because I got mine and 2 weeks of wearing it, my love bangle was bent from slight tap and I brought it for repair but it's been nearly 7 weeks and I haven't got any news yet. By the way I brought it to repair at Selfridges.

Really that's awful, I've been wearing mine continuously for over 2 years, I bought it from the Cartier Boutique on Bond Street, I know they changed the screw system but I wonder if they changed the design slightly & made them thinner....... I really hope that's not the case because they put there prices up so much, the price has increased by £1,000 since I purchased mine.

Hope you get it sorted :D

Hi designerdiva,
Yes it is awful, apart from not able to wear it for the past 7 weeks and the fact that i've only worn it for 2 weeks. I called Cartier and they said its on the way back from Paris. Hopefully I should be able to wear it again soon.
