I didn't know you can't wear gold, that shucks :shucks: perhaps if you got the wg in 14k and rhodium plated? I have a lot of 14k gold rhodium plated.

Hehe can't wait for modeling pics!! Just the necklaces by themselves were nice but they both look great on you. I wonder what this third one will be like!
Me too! I hope it's nicer than these. The girls on that board seem to buy stuff from that site like mad. In the pics it seems that the stones are bezelled just like the QVC ones.

Unfortunately that doesn't work. My skin just eats the plating. It takes about 5 minutes of direct contact before my skin starts to feel the burn, within a half hour it can be boiling outright. It's GROSS and hurts like hell. A lot of jewelers like to discount it and tell me that it's the alloys. No, I am pretty sure about what I am allergic to and disputing it will prevent you from making a sale. My friend and I used to go to this jeweler that would say things like "people can't be allergic to metals. But they are probably having a reaction since all the drugs they're on are mixing with them". Or "only alcoholics have the issue with metals turning their fingers green." And he meant things like heroin and stuff. It was bizarre.

Ame~ I don't think you will be satisfied with a CZ DBTY necklace in the long run. Kindly send me your loupes. I will keep them safe for you, while you are saving up for a diamond DBTY necklace. Let me know when you are ready, and I will return the loupes :D

I like the one you just ordered, But I think the bezels will be thicker. It looks more how the Tiffany's SS bezels are thicker and the QVC one looked more like the Tiffany's gold and platinum bezels..thin.
Can't wait to hear what you think when you get it.
I wonder why the girls on the other forum like that site so much. Is it the price or the quality?

QVC for sure. I don't think the size of the diamonds looks totally out of your reach (if you match it up to your ring, say)... I totally get what you mean, my DH bought me a really pretty diamond simulant in Australia (a solitaire pendant on white gold - quite expensive I think, $500?) and it is I'd guess 3 carats? It's really pretty but NO ONE I know would EVER think that was a real diamond! So (at this point in my life anyways, not when I was 21) I would feel like I was "fronting" or something. LOL. But the QVC one isn't too out of reach I don't think, size wise... and much prettier!

A couple years ago I got a Judith Ripka one on QVC, it was longer and she made the exact one with real (teeny) diamonds, they had it at Saks. Recently I've started wearing it doubled and have been getting a ton of compliments. I'd check and see what's in her QVC line.
