The diamonds are actually set into the gold it was described to me somewhat like invisible settings. The prongs are really there for the smaller diamonds that were added for decorations do it appears like there is little to no metal. We are confidant in our jeweler that made it and we've never had problems with his work. It is also insured, so we aren't worried. But thank you for your concern.
She said it is set in the gold. She had this ring custom made. She is happy and her hubby is happy.
He can see, but he obviously can't read. I'm done addressing him.
Hubby wears it nearly everyday! He seriously couldn't be happier, it looks great on him, and with all his other jewelry!
