Any recent info on import fees? Just purchased a $6K bag from Japan and was estimating at 10% before I read this thread.

In the US, check page 13 of this thread for answers. But, it can be as much as 10% customs over 800USD plus applicable state sales tax. In other words, budget for as much as 20%. But, it could be 10% or less if you are lucky.

Do you know if this includes state tax? I’m purchasing the item from eBay so I’m already paying my state tax. I wonder if the customs tax will be lower because of that?
