I carried it recently for a few days and just don't have that same feeling I have with some of my other bags.

I really like your white one. It looks nice w/ the pink for summer. It's a great shape & size & I really wish they had more colors w/ silver hw.
Ok, I've decided "Curious Georgie" going back on my next outlet trip. I'm sure someone else will come along to give her more love.

I would have went nuts for it if it had silver hardware. I'm just not a fan of gold with that bright of a pink. I have the Preston in silver/pink Ruby and it looks so much better in my opinion. My only problem with my Preston is that the handles have an orange hue compared to the rest of the bag.

I walked away from this same bag last week at the outlet...and I wanted her! But I didn't. lol I love the size, the double compartments and the longer crossbody strap. I liked so many things about the bag and the color was very pretty...it was just too intense for me and the gold hardware wasn't complimentary, IMHO.

I think you're making the right choice. I'd love it in another color.

Looks like we're on the same page ;) My dh who doesn't say much about my bags said it's too "Barbie doll." Lol. I get what he means.

Twins on Georgie. She's a great size. I do wish they'd put out more colors though.
When I carry her, I wear neutral or pastel colored clothing to make her really stand out. ( not that she needs much help...lol. )

No worries. I wouldn't call the gold hw "blecch" like a pp. And my apologies if I unintentionally said anything bad about your bag. I think it's lovely (otherwise I wouldn't have brought her home!) but looking at it w/ my wardrobe & all, it's just not right for me.

Yes, I think those of us not raving about the Georgie are more just reiterating that Coach should have come up with more color options, and how silver hardware might have helped on some of the colors they chose. I own one, and I am not raving about it for that exact reason :-)

I bought the white ostrich one. I like it a lot. I would love it if it had feet and only one compartment. Additionally, because this is a summer bag, I knew it would be at the outlet or FOS in short order. I had to ask myself if I was ok and could live with the bag being $100 less in 1-2 months. I kinda was ok, but will have to see once it actually happens, then my story might change :)

I saw the white ostrich priced for quite a bit lower at Macy's, I think it was, and perhaps somewhere else, so they are starting to mark the Georgie's down. When I saw the lower price I admit to being a little :-(

It is my fault though, as I don't normally buy bags priced over $300, so it is probably more about me not being fully comfortable with that decision. I agree with you about the one compartment. I feel like there isn't a need to have a second one...I would prefer not to separate out the few items I put in there--it seems pointless for my personal use.

Keep in mind, I don't dislike the bag...it is beautiful. I probably have a bit of buyers remorse based on the price, however.
