As usual, the show pieces are the most "outrageous" pieces... They end up being the most expensive and most hard to find pieces in stores. This is a platform for Louis Vuitton to appeal to the most influential fashion shoppers. The vast majority of regular buyers will never own a piece from a show. I think it's great that the runway collections continue to be daring and innovative both for men and women. That's a sign the house is committed to evolution.

Loving the colorful twists, the steamers with the pockets, and can't wait to see how the rtw translates. Saw a few jackets I'd love to see.

The setting was amazing though, the architecture of the building, the background of Rio.
 
I thought the capsule collection was very tacky. But I like that they used ethnically diverse models and men too. The more we see men in women's collections, the less flack I'll get for sporting a murse (it is what it is, even if we call it a messenger bag. let's be real here).
