Croisette or Alma B.B. ... scared of Pochette Metis!?

I agree that the croisette looks better crossbody. The alma bb works better worn on the shoulder (rather than crossbody). However, my vote is for the alma bb because it holds more than the croisette and it's a modern twist on a timeless LV design. I also think the alma bb is one of LV's best bags in terms of bang for your buck. The price is quite reasonable given the high quality of the bag overall.

That Info and the shots where super helpful, I did not realize that the Croisette was not “that structured”..... thanks a million!

Actually it is really structured. The picture in the middle is missleading, since the side is dented in on it. That's not the usual look.

When I was looking for a small bag in DE I chose the Croisette, and I'm so glad I did. It is ladylike, but still playful - I get compliments for it all the time. It fits all my essentials, and I find neither the handle nor the lock in any way cumbersome. If I could have only one LV bag this would be it. (Does what the Pochette Metis does, without the PM's problems.) The Alma may be a classic, but it's also a bit boring, in my opinion. And personally I couldn't deal with how the strap is attached - too OCD for that...

what about a favorite mm? IMO the favorite is one of the best bags for your buck and it even fits an ipad mini which the other two do not. I also have alma bb but bc it’s so structured it tends to bang around when worn cross body and the croisette somehow doesn’t do it for me anymore... am thinking about selling her. I do also have the PM and it’s definitely my favorite bag besides speedy and favorite... had no issues with her whatsoever and use her daily... I am so in love and will always keep her [emoji173]️

I guess depends on why you didnt want to buy pochette metis, if you are afraid of the cracking issue, I think Croisette will have the same problem too. Maybe buy pochette metis in leather?

Actually no: the Croisette has no cracking issue, to my knowledge. Because, other than on the Pochette Metis, the edges are not cut and glazed, but folded over and sewn together, which is not only neater, but also more durable. I had two Pochette Metis, they both developped issues on the flap within the first year. My Croisette still looks like new after five years, and I‘ve worn it a lot.
