Covid-19 Changed The Way We Shop

With regard to grocery shopping, the only thing that has changed is the masks and social distancing. One of my grocery stores delivers, but I actually prefer to shop because it is the one of the few times I get out of the house. The only other time I get out of the house is to shop at Hermes. I vastly prefer to shop at Hermes now than pre-COVID. Pre-COVID, I would go to the Hermes store on a Saturday for a mother/daughter Saturday excursion and the store would be mobbed on Rodeo Dr. Now, I get an email or text inviting me to a Sunday shopping event for a 2 hour period. I get a gift bag of Champagne and chocolates and the store is empty. My daughters and I get to play dress up and they are even playing music now! Pre-COVID, Hermes did not play music. Now, the music just makes it just a little more enjoyable and French! I hope it never changes.

For me I'm exclusively an online shopper now. The fact clothes can't be tried on due to safety reasons instore I just prefer online shopping now.

Minus the groceries and food in general, I still like going into supermarkets but only now go during off peak hours.

I buy things online whenever I can, but for grocery shopping (especially fresh produce) I still go in person. Here it’s mandatory to wear masks in indoor public spaces & hand sanitisers are available to use at the shops (though I still carry my own sanitiser to use)

I live in the middle of BFE so I haven't been able to shop at a Mall in years. I go to NYC and LA some to shop but mostly at home and online. So the pandemic didn't change that.

i only shop online for necessities and basic items. I find that getting grocery deliveried doesn't work for me because they always make mistakes, give me wrong items etc and it cost extra so for me its not worth it
