Almost forgot, went over to the boutique on Sunday to look at the cosmetic cases and it just was not my day. They did not have 3 of the 4 things I wanted to see and the store was unbelievably packed!! (Note to self ~ avoid the Oak Brook LV on weekends!!) Needless to say, I left empty handed. I want to decide fairly soon, but unless I get the empreinte one there is no mad rush. I am actually thinking of going with the DE if I don't get the leather ~ I do love that red lining!The empreinte cosmetic has quite the hefty price tag for a make up bag!! although I wanted it, I couldn't get myself to tell my DBF when he got it for me that I wanted the emp instead!
I do admit that for something that's so pretty and expensive, I wouldn't want it to live just inside bags.

Can I say though.. after having used the DE cosmetic bag for a couple days now, I have no regrets.. although the emp cosmetic in orient is gorgeous, I just... can't seem to get myself to spend that kind of money on something like a cosmetic bag! I think $400 is as much as I would spend (or let my DBF spend) on a cosmetic pouch that lives in my bag!
The red lining is gorgeous too! I also don't have to be so careful... when I apply make up, there's make up left on my finger tips, which inevitably rub on the cosmetic pouch. I fear that that would "turn" the empreinte orient cosmetic pouch as time passes. That would be heartbreaking.

. I am having trouble deciding on a cosmetic case. My other slg's in my bag are mono except for my 4 key holder which is pomme. I originally was going to get the black MC but spending like 500$ on something that sits in my purse seems so wasteful. So i was thinking either either another mono slg cause i love mono or going with the DE. I even toyed around with the Epi. But when i checked the LV website , its the same price as the MC one!! Gesh! ..lol. I am happy to hear you love your DE one. May i ask , which size do you have?

Glad it was helpful for you! I have the DE in the regular(not GM) size. My DBF actually asked me to choose between the two and Irealized the GM was a bit too big for my liking. I use a jumbo purse-to-go organizer in all my bags and there was no way I could fit both the GM cosmetic pouch and a mini pochette (which is where I keep all my medical stuff in). I always believed I carried a lot of makeup compared to others so I thought the regular size would be too small, but after I took out maybe one or 2 make-up pens, it was fine! I don’t mind dropping a couple Gs on a bag, but a cosmetic bag should not cost more than 10% of the bag- at the least! My mom has the epi electric cosmetic bag and she never uses it… I was going to take hers but I was instantly turned off by how my fingerprints were being left there due to the leftover make-up on my hands! I just feel like canvas is soooo care-free for these types- I prefer leather over canvas for bags, but I realized that pouches should be canvas, as they are not only cheaper, but are less prone to damages that will happen when you carelessly reach in your bag or your make-up gets on em. It’s an easy wipe down!

I forgot to add pics of what's in my bag right now. I took out my empreinte secret long wallet, which I used yesterday as a clutch and forgot to put it back in. Here it is- fits perfectly in the jumbo size (inside my speedy 30 noir)!

They are in short supply company wide.... when I called 866 the other day the woman with whom I spoke said there were about a dozen of the Orient left in the U.S. and even fewer of the Infini. Aube is not a problem ~ they had this one when I was in the boutique on Sunday.
So... If you want one, order it now!

I wish there was a middle size between the regular and the GM- the GM is huge and the regular one is a bit "tight." Cycle of LV madness is the best cycle there is! lol!
