Mine is a cathedral setting, so yours will be different, I am sure. Here is a profile pic, and then a different picture just because I like it! Like I said, almost any band fits flush with my ring. Good luck with your new setting; show us pics when you receive it!

WOW, sorry for the huge pictures! I am not sure how to shrink them, but I will try to work on it before my time runs out to edit...

Love your wedding set!!

Sure does. I am someone that is very "flush fit mandatory" and no fitted bands allowed. And I too like to see the whole stone, and high settings are my thing. I still think my Vatche is WAY too low.

Really?? I love your set Ame!!! Or are you enabling yourself for a new setting :graucho:
Can you post some pics again?

Well besides never being happy with how low it was (yes I can see the stone, but I want it overall taller) and their staunch refusal to raise it up higher, part of the issue with my setting is that it's pretty poorly made. They've remade it many times and they've not done a good job even once. At least one prong isn't even touching the stone and snags like crazy. And for the pricepoint, that's just not acceptable. Since our house is the priority right now, jewelry is out of the question. But the setting being in the condition it is in, I just don't wear it.

Your set is lovely. I hope you can get the setting resolved once you are done your renos so u can wear it with peace of mind.

Love your set Ame. Thanks for posting it. Your whole set is so well balanced and your ring looks soooo pretty. I am really sorry that you have so many issues with it. This wedding set wants to be worn all day and every day (although I know that you are very careful with your jewelry and not wear it every day; but at least you should be certain that your beautiful stone is safe!)

These might help, I think the head is the same one that Ame posted. Yours shouldn't be set nearly so high, mine was because the side stones were set very close to the center, I later had it lowered. Any word on when yours will be finished? As a pear lover I'm excited to see it! And I'm so relieved there's going to be more prongs on it, I about died when I saw your gorgeous stone with only 3 prongs!

Looks great!!! make sure if you get an eternity band that you wear a spacer with it. The prongs being incorporated into the shank that way will pose issues with eternity bands :)

Issues? As in itll hurt the band in some way?

Probably hurt both rings and definitely the prongs on the ering. The diamonds in an eternity band can cut into those prongs when they rub. It's very easily fixed with a thin plain band which will keep that from happening AND keep the diamonds in an eternity band from "competing" with your lovely pear.
