Comfort bag - do you have one?

Because of the rainy weather and general greyness, I went with this safe number. Taylor is always a solid piece and one I don't mind showing at our head office (where Furla, Coccinelle and LV MC are the cheapest bags you'll see). Not very comforting but very familiar.

That’s a very sharp looking bag! And sometimes, familiarity does bring comfort ..

I love the idea of a comfort bag. For me it would probably be my LV Delightful in monogram...although, any of my bags could act as a comfort bag as they all bring me joy in some way for different reasons.

I hope you get some good news soon and will be sending you positive vibes.

So right! I think I made the right choice - felt put together and super profesh all day.

Thank you  Working my way towards a more positive place.
You gotta love a nice hobo, lord know I do - and lately I've caught myself looking at a DA Delightful for sale on a Facebook designer flea market a little too often. After I sold my M Effie Hobo I've found myself longing after something more structured and robust.

So sorry you're feeling stressed... Hope the meetings went well and you're feeling better. I wish I had a comfort bag, or just any "comfort" item but I don't - it used to be my car though!
Your comment about your head office bag wearing made me smile because our head office parking lot is always full of higher end vehicles, except the big oil men who drive pickup trucks. And then there was me in my Subaru. My station wagon parked next to Range Rovers, Mercedes, etc. lol I loved that thing and owned it for 7 years until someone totaled it in a parking lot . I drive a Volvo now and although she looks way better in the parking lot next to the other cars, I still don't get that comfy feeling I had in my Subaru. I drove her 200k miles and would have easily driven her until total death. Maybe in 5 more years the Volvo will feel like home like that to me.

We felt that way about our Suburban. It finally died after 20 years. The new car doesn't feel the same. It is just a car, just like 1000s of others. We have trouble finding it in a parking lot.

Nearly everyone near us drives a white pickup truck. My neighbor, who is single, has two. We are an agricultural area so maybe that is why, but why do they all have to be white?

My current comfort bag is a non-luxury brand powder blue bag that is inspired by the square Gucci Marmont (the one that looks like a lunchbox, has a zipper and a canvas tricolor strap). This bag looks so familiar and comforting. I grab it when I don't really know that to wear. Another comfort bag is a Dr. Martens satchel that looks just like the Cambridge Satchel, but with a shinier leather. It's maroon and super my style.
If I had to pick a luxury comfort bag, it would be the LV Speedy B 30 in damier ebene. Love it to bits.

Now, I have a few comfort shoes and clothes. They're even more important to me than the bag I'm wearing, but, like you said, depending on the occasion, I can't go for them.

Take care! Everything will be fine. :)
