Oh my goodness sorry to hear what happened to your bag. I thought you would be safe with the light beige top. Have you looked throughout some Chanel threads for some solutions of possible cleaning some of the stains?I am a fan of white bags and I am used to handling white bags from luxury brands with no issues. I have a white caviar cf which I bought about 12 years ago? It still looks brand new despite using it for so many years, no colour transfer, no yellowing, nothing happened to it.
Hence having a good experience with white caviar, I bought a white caviar coco handle last month. Gosh bad mistake! I wore a light beige top on the first use, and it was stained with beige at the back! The second time I wore a light yellow top, the bag was further stained with yellow. To test it out, I wore the same tops with my white cf, nothing happened to the cf. The new white caviar is a colour magnet, it just absorbs any colour to the leather, and I could not remove it at all. In conclusion, for the price increase, the quality of the leather has dropped drastically. I will never buy anything white from Chanel again. Totally disappointed with their quality, my bag was destroyed with just 2 usages.![]()
Good luck.
