Love your green amethyst set! (Love the way you took the pictures too!)

and how incredibly sweet of you to think of your grandmother. Beautiful. I'm sure she will love it.

^^I love them! I love the fact that the earring style is different, especially since the necklace/earrings are close to your face.
I have earring/ring combos and always pair them with a different type of necklace.

I'm not fond of too matchy matchy, I like the same kind of stone to be in different cuts. For instance the ring is a step cut, the pendant vintage cushion (thanks to Frick for her knowledge, I don't know the English names of the cuts!), and the earrings are pear cut. In fact Mr Lily decided on these earrings, there were more to choose, oval and square and round. He said they look very feminine.:D

About the pics, I 'm having BIG problems with my camera, the lense can't focus as it used to, I really can't understand why, and it takes me double the time than it used to. 90% of the pics were blurry and not focused at all. so what you see is the product of big effort.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments!

2 new pieces just arrived, I was expecting them much later at least in June, I'm very excited. So here they are:

No1 Citrine solitaire in square/princess cut!

This is a gift for my grandmother, I know she loves citrine and I was looking for a princess cut or emerald cut for the longest time. This one was such a bargain, I hope she likes it!:hbeat: She has been through a rough year and I really want to cheer her up, I got my jewel bug from her after all. I've already arranged we go away for a few days on vacay together because that will do so much good to her and we keep each other the best company!

Sorry I can't model it, but it is teeny tiny it barely fits my pinky finger. It will look huge on my grandmother. She has the tiniest hands!

No2 green amethyst pear cut earrings.

These are for me to complete my green amethyst set. :D

Off to look for topaz and pink tourmaline now!!!
^yeah...more jewelry shopping!!!

the citrine ring is just perfect! it looks like a darker shade...like a madeira citrine. such a gorgeous color!

LOVE green amethyst! drop earrings are my favorite...so delicate & feminine.

So here are my Green amethyst pieces.

Hope you guys like them, they are very classic in style.
^the set looks elegant all together. you chose some fabulous pieces. hopefully you'll get to wear the whole set very soon.

^:hugs: so happy that my obsession can help someone else :p

I agree with you...I don't care for too matchy matchy. although...........I do like to have a "set" of jewelry in each gemstone (ring, earrings, sometimes pendant or bracelet). and, this is where it gets weird, I like to have the colors of my gemstones match colors in the clothes that I'm wearing. [yes, now that I've typed it out, I see that I'm insane...] so does that mean that I truly AM matchy matchy?

^ No you are not! Matchy matchy is only when all the stones are the same cut, not when all the stones match the color of the clothes! hahahaa!! We make the rules!
:hugs:
