^^I love them! I love the fact that the earring style is different, especially since the necklace/earrings are close to your face.
I have earring/ring combos and always pair them with a different type of necklace.
Love your green amethyst set! (Love the way you took the pictures too!)
and how incredibly sweet of you to think of your grandmother. Beautiful. I'm sure she will love it.
^yeah...more jewelry shopping!!!2 new pieces just arrived, I was expecting them much later at least in June, I'm very excited. So here they are:
No1 Citrine solitaire in square/princess cut!
This is a gift for my grandmother, I know she loves citrine and I was looking for a princess cut or emerald cut for the longest time. This one was such a bargain, I hope she likes it!She has been through a rough year and I really want to cheer her up, I got my jewel bug from her after all. I've already arranged we go away for a few days on vacay together because that will do so much good to her and we keep each other the best company!
Sorry I can't model it, but it is teeny tiny it barely fits my pinky finger. It will look huge on my grandmother. She has the tiniest hands!
No2 green amethyst pear cut earrings.
These are for me to complete my green amethyst set.
Off to look for topaz and pink tourmaline now!!!![]()
^the set looks elegant all together. you chose some fabulous pieces. hopefully you'll get to wear the whole set very soon.So here are my Green amethyst pieces.
Hope you guys like them, they are very classic in style.
^I'm not fond of too matchy matchy, I like the same kind of stone to be in different cuts. For instance the ring is a step cut, the pendant vintage cushion (thanks to Frick for her knowledge, I don't know the English names of the cuts!), and the earrings are pear cut. In fact Mr Lily decided on these earrings, there were more to choose, oval and square and round. He said they look very feminine.![]()
