Once in a while it appears on H.com and I bought one from CDG airport recently.

I went to the Hermes store in SF last May. Asked if they had an CDC's and they said there was a one year waiting list!! I bought one on H.com last November. I was checking online on a regular basis and finally scored one. I scored 2 others too online so it can be done. Good luck and with persistence you will find one.
