Coco handle or Chanel 19 for first bag?

Hi everyone, would love your opinion on what to get for my first Chanel bag. I am debating between the black coco handle bag or black Chanel 19 bag. It seems to be a debate between classic or trendy - I love both but can only get one right now.

Both are beautiful bags but if I can only pick one then I vote for the coco handle.

Both bags are special in their own way. However my vote is for the Coco Handle because Chanel 19 is lambskin and might be easily damaged due to wear and tear. Coco Handle you have got to be careful about the scuffing around the four corners but apart from that it is quite easy to wear.

didn't find the 19 pleasant, till I saw it in tweed, but only like it in tweed.

I prefer C19 over CCH. I’m just not a CCH girl. C19 is so soft and yummy and not as delicate as regular lambskin. It also depends how you are planning to use it. C19 for me is a day/work bag but CCH on a mini/small case can be day to evening bag IMHO. You can't go wrong with either. Good luck!

i vote for the 19! Don‘t worry about the lambskin - it‘s treated, so not sensitive at all.

I vote for the 19! It's so easy to use, can be dressed up and down, and it's not delicate as "normal" lambskin.
