Just saw this thread. Like @lavenderjunkie I love a rainbow of colors, but not in Logo. I remember when the Splash (I don't know if that's the official name) design debuted I didn't like it because it looked like someone spilled paint all over the bag. But my love for color made me give it a second and third look and I like it now. If I really wanted it I would have to look on the resell market for it now. (Not looking now.)
Regarding the light handles, I prefer light handles with colorful bags. I'm aware of the risk but I'd be willing to chance it if I found a design I liked. I think because I carry my bags with very casual clothes I'm not so hung up anymore about flaws or marks. I retired from commercial banking and I wanted my bags to look polished and professional when I was working. It was exhausting trying to protect my bags.
I can totally appreciate your love of the more casual. I too worked in a very conservative atmosphere & had to dress accordingly. Honestly, sometimes I miss the hose, heels, pretty suits and the bags. Especially the heels (had extensive spinal surgery) & I was a total shoe freak. I replaced my love of shoes with a handbag obsession. With the way I dress now - always in sneakers - I'd look silly carrying the polished bags I once carried. Ah well, time moves on.

Yes! Sneakers, leggings, t-shirt and hooded jacket. At first I didn't want to carry nylon bags because I felt my leather bags somehow elevated my wardrobe. LOL! After walking a lot I needed to lighten my bags and that meant carrying nylon or coated canvas bags. But my continued love for leather handbags keeps me on the hunt for a lightweight leather bag. Currently my preloved leather Coach CBB is working well.

Same here. Taking the kids back and forth to school, picking up groceries, running errands. I'm wearing these adorable Nike Air Max, the collection is Princess Charming. All that paired with my pumpkin domed satchel. But I also have an addiction to old school sneakers - Saucony, NB 574, Adidas Nizza Platform

Saucony is a great shoe. That's all I wear. With doctor recommended stiff shoe inserts of course - at $60 a pop. I guess by the time I add the cost of Saucony to the cost of the inserts you might say they are high-dollar shoes! ;)

Love Saucony! Another great shoe, I forgot to add, Brooks Adrenaline. It’s like walking in a cloud. So my heel support.

I have had 5 spinal surgeries. I think many of us D&B lovers appreciate a well-made pair shoes.

I started buying Sarah Flint this year in their flat shoes and the perfect pump that comes in a 2" heel. I can only wear 2.5" heels and boots on my best days.

If you are unfamiliar with the brand, I have read people buy at full price to find their size. Sale shoes are final sale. I did not think to do this and had to sell shoes on their Sequel site because they were too big. Their shoes run wide IMO. I wear a 7B and have to be careful about style.

They have good sales. Definitely wait for a very good sale. My budget does not allow me to pay full price for shoes at $495.00.

Oh bless your heart - 5 surgeries?! Geez Louise! You're tough! One open back surgery did it for me so far. Spinal work is some serious fixin'.
I'm not familiar with Sara Flint - will look into it definitely! Wide is perfect. I can wear med, but my dogs prefer wide. When I'm just in the house I wear Vionic flip flops, then Saucony sneakers when I go out.

Agreed 100%. Saucony has great customer service too! I have one pair of Brooks but I went right back to Saucony. A lot of nurses I've noticed do wear Brooks.

The rain proof small winter Doodle cb. Very light & easy. I like it I think better than the DB75 design. It's a happy bag! Reminds me of how welcome a new box of crayons was when we were kids.
