I noticed that at Macy's they're selling new pocket satchels which aren't being sold in Coach stores. I haven't seen these satchels in any of there catologs either.

hi guys! well, i bought a coach bag at nordstrom's today. it looks like this:

but it's half the length (so it looks like a gallery tote). well, i asked about it at the coach store after i looked at it @ nordy's but before i bought it. and the weird this is that the SA i spoke to said that they weren't selling a short version of the posted tote, plus it's not in the summer catalogue. but she said that sometimes department stores get different styles of bags that aren't sold in coach stores. is that what happened to me? i would have rather bought my bag at the actual coach store, but since they didn't have it there, i had to buy it at nordstroms. yeah, it's not really a problem but i jst thought it was really weird.

anyways, the bag is a Beauty, and so much more proportional than the version they sell at the coach store (which is a just bit long IRL). they had it in gold and white, and i got the last white ^^ i will post pictures if anyone's curious as to what it looks like.

Wow thats really weird, I didnt even know that (about Dept. stores getting unique styles not sold in the actual boutique). I agree with you though, the one theyre selling in stores is a bit too long vertically for my taste, so the one you got sounds really cute! I would love to see pictures, Congrats!

yeah they do that...i've seen a lot of bags at Macy's that aren't in the catalog/Coach store, and I vaguely remember being told that as well.

It's very cute! But I have a hard time spending over $400 dollars on a bag, no matter who makes it. So I certainly hope the Denim Hobo like that, which has a smaller version, is cute too because I will scoop that up!

You can purchase them through Coach's 800 number, my husband got me the khaki patchwork tote for my b-day, which came today. The straps are a little short for shoulder wear, so I called them and ordered the tote with the single strap. I'll be returning the first one-but it is beautiful!!!! Can't wait to get the new one so I can use it!

My SA rold me to go ahead an pre-order the denim as it was popular. If they know it will be here by Mothers day I would do it. My SA isn't a fool. He knows I buy a lot of coach and knows whats hot and whats not. He pointed out the Tie Dye to me and I said I wasn't "feelin it" and he told me "nobody is, I sure hope it looks better in person".....

Call them and ask if they can guarentee arrival by mothers day. Best off to call a store rather than 800 because then the shipping is free.
